Nicky has been brilliant with my Jackapoo. She took her time to understand him and explained everything so well with how to work on his nervousness and his lead pulling. If I ever needed to ask a question she would answer it and if I felt something wasn’t working for me she would alter the training or add in more tips. She even came out to me when it had snowed and the roads weren’t the best. I really would recommend Nicky to anyone who needs help training their dog. Thank you so much!!
I contacted Nicky at Chorley K9 solutions back in September due to my reactive 3 year old Labradoodle. The whole experience has been fantastic, the support, training plans and personal 1 on 1 sessions throughout this journey have helped so much and I now feel like I have a new dog! Nicky has been wonderful with my Welsh Springer spaniel, George. She's been working with me to help George with his separation anxiety. When I first contacted Nicky, I couldn't leave the room without George following me and if the door was shut between us he'd howl, bark and be very unhappy. Over the short time we've worked together so far I'm very happy with the progress George has made. This will be an ongoing thing I'll be working on for a while as Separation anxiety isn't something that goes away overnight. Nicky has been very supportive and encouraging through our sessions especially when I felt I wasn't making much progress. I can't recommend Nicky highly enough and am looking forward to working with her soon with my other Welsh Springer spaniel, Molly on her lead walking. We got in touch with Nicky after experiencing some behavioural issues with our cockapoo Dexter. Following a speedy response, we had an in depth zoom call with Nicky, after which she devised a detailed behaviour plan. Nicky was very responsive to us and showed a genuine concern for our dog. Although we, as first time dog owners, were probably responsible for some behavioural issues, not once did Nicky criticise us, she simply gave us superb guidance and tools to work with via regular plans and updates. These were not only practical, but involved fun games too. We have seen a marked improvement in Dexter's behaviour and also our understanding of how to deal with him as a family. We would highly recommend Nicky's services and expertise, which we feel was extremely good value for money. We will not hesitate to involve Nicky again, should we have further issues with Dexter.
Nicky has been fantastic. Couldn’t recommend her enough. We got in touch with Nicky for our 13 month old cocker spaniel, Sonny, who was resource guarding and reactive. Within days, we have seen a massive improvement in him since getting Nicky’s support and following her guidance - and we have great techniques/training that we will continue to use forever. Absolutely brilliant. So helpful with our troublesome one. Nicky turned up Christmas eve and really did help save Christmas with the help and advice she gave us regarding our dog. If anyone needs any help with a misunderstood pooch then this lady is your ace up your sleeve

Nicky is amazing! Our dog was very reactive and walks were becoming something to dread. But with Nicky’s professional, non-judgemental advice within days we were seeing results and within weeks we were having eureka moments. Going on walks now is so much better. Nicky is friendly, approachable and always happy to help. I can’t rate her any higher!!!
Nicky is amazing. We went to her for help and support with our Romania rescue. She has been with us on our journey even before Maia arrived, helping us know what to expect and what to do in different scenarios, to now 14 months on. I never feel silly or judged when asking her questions. She is helpful, supportive, knowledgeable and really lovely. Maia can be fussy about who she likes.... Nicky is a firm favourite of hers! I can't recommend her highly enough 😊
Nichola is amazing and I can highly recommend her services. My romanian rescue now has zero reactivity to other dogs thanks to her tactics and is making excellent progress with her fear of cars. The 1st session we had came with treats such as snuffle mat and lick mat, food treats and a training plan. She regularly checks in to see how Luna is doing and is always on hand for advice. Can't praise her enough xxx
Thank you Nicky for all your help with our energetic labrador puppy Brian. She has given us advice, games and tricks for him to learn to which he has responded so well and thoroughly enjoys, taking his mind off biting and jumping up when out for walks .
